Robert James DOBSON, son of Matthew & Eliza RUSSELL DOBSON, was killed during the
1st World War. He was bn in Co Donegal in the early 1890s & his death is commemorated
in a stained glass window in a church in Letterkenny. Would like to learn any details
about his death or where to write to get more info.
William GAILEY, bn abt 1809 at Killylastin, married Martha [possibly BLACK] in early
1839. The couple’s 1st 2 children were bn in Co Donegal: Eliza, bn late 1839, &
William, bn 1841. The couple left Ireland & immigrated to Pennsylvania, arriving in
Philadelphia 1842-1843. Have not found them on a passenger list but have found them
joining a Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia in early 1843. Any info about the couple or
their children would be helpful.
