There were two Presbyterian Churches in Raphoe with records available as
Presbyterian. 1st Raphoe
Baptisms, 1829-1982; marriages, 1829-96.
Presbyterian. 2nd Raphoe
Baptisms, 1860-1923; marriages, 1829-45 and 1860-1939.
Just in passing, there were Stevenson families in both Donaghmore
(Ballindrait) and Ramelton
in the time period you are researching. There was another family who used
the spelling "Stephenson" in Letterkenny. These are all in the Diocese of

Can anyone tell me if the following church is still in Rapahoe and how I
check on records, if available, from this church for the early 1800s.
Rapahoe Presbyterian Ch., Donegal, Ireland
I am research John Stevenson born August 18, 1802 Rapahoe, County of
Ireland married 1st Martha Allen abt. 1825 and 2nd Nancy Ann Eaton November
17, 1834. According to a letter written in 1904 by a daughter of John's,
and John were married in the Rapahoe Presbyterian Church. I would like to
try and confirm this information and maybe find the names of Nancy Eaton's
