Kilbarron Parish is in south Co. Donegal bordering on Co. Fermanagh, and
no townlands called Fermanagh in the parish, for sure. Expect that, since
the discharge paper was drawn up in Quebec, Canada, the clerk either did not
know the difference, or perhaps was just trying to "fill in the blanks" with
something, and next-door Fermanagh was a handy choice. So, looks like you
have the county and parish correct, but still need to identify the townland.

he was born. I can't find a town of Fermanagh in Donegal. would someone
