Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Just a note to inform you that 40M new Irish records have been put
on-line for viewing if you happen to have a membership.
The URL below will give you some of the details and the legal
implications of their actions.
I have checked the site and they do have the info/records on-line, they
include 433,560 historical Irish Catholic parish records dating from
between 1742 and 1884. Once again my GGF is not listed in those
records for Donegal, guess I will have to wait for more to be uploaded
by "someone" or some other organization.................................:-)
Take a look at the URL:
I will be away for the next few weeks so am unable to assist anyone with
the above records, maybe later
Have a great day
I do pray that you'll begin to feel a little better SOON! Having had painful shoulders (FROZEN I think),
I know how painful it can be. But Iwas still able to do most things for myself -- but with a FX
shoulder, can't be done.
You'll be surprised at the response of those whose help you ask for. They'll be VERY WILLING to
help. It's nice Peggy's brothers call you and let you know they're thinking of you. Too bad about Peggy.
She sounds so selfish -- some day she might be in the position where a phone call would mean so much,
and nobody's going to call HER. It's hard to smile and laugh when you're hurting, but as "Laughter is
the best medicine," maybe you can watch some of the old comedies on MEtv or on one of those channels.
My friend Joan who had a mastectomy this spring said she's "growing a new breast" -- her skin is
actially expanding (as doc said it would). The doc told her he has a tatoo artist (tattoos all over his body)
who tatoos the nipple the plastic surgeon puts on; it looks NATURAL. Joan jokingly told her daughter
(DO physician), "I think I have him put a vine up my breast to my shoulder and put a butterfly on it."
Of course, her daughter was aghast, and said, "Mother, you wouldn't!" Joan upset her more by saying,
"Oh, wouldn't I?" Now that she's feeling better physically, she jokes with the docs and staff.
She's even begun to accept her new look hairdo -- short, cury & wavy with top that looks frosted.
She said she was getting tired with the bleach jobs and her hairdos.
How nice of Roni to take you shopping, but that would be TIRING -- weak to begin with and push
the cart with ONE HAND. Maybe you can get a volunteer from RSVP (Retied Senior Volunteer Program)
to come go shopping with you and help around the house. My sister is able to call (she doesn't know where)
and can get a lady to take her shopping. She wanted to pay the lady, but she refused and said, "They
pay me; you don't pay me anything." (My sister doesn't check things out -- when she gets a phone number
to call, she does so and has no idea who she's calling.)
Check around for places you can get help.
Love & prayer,
