I am looking for any family of Michael Rogers who was b. 1755 in N. Ireland, most likely Co. Donegal, Monaghan or Derry. He emigrated to the US, probably PA or VA in the mid-1750's as he served in the VA Continental Line in the Revolutionary War. He married Catherine Troxell in Augusta Co., VA in 1791 and they settled in Greenbrier, WV after that. He died in 1843.
Someone posted this URL or I came across it in my web travels, not sure,
if URL was a prior post by a member thanks
1851 Ireland Census Fragments
Quote from website
"...*Introduction to the 1851 Census Fragments:*
The surviving 1851 census return fragments for fourteen Irish Parishes
in the county of Antrim (which including thousands of individuals) were
available for free download as text files some years ago and have been
made available for perusal on this web site. As far as is known, no
copyrights are associated with the files, and they are therefore free
for private or public use."
