I've been trying to find evidence of a "tank wagon roll over crushes/kills
driver" in the Sloan/Salix area of Woodbury Co., IA in Jan or Feb of 1920.
Perhaps it was written up in a newspaper article.
The name of the driver would be Lewis/Louis or L. C. WILLIAMSON.
He was driving a tank wagon when it overturned and crushed him.
The name of the oil company he worked for, I believe they called them
salesman, could be Independent Oil Company out of Sioux City.
A niece of Lewis states that she can remember of talking to a postmaster in
the Sloan/Salix area that remembers the roll over and death. Lewis and wife
Jessie (MCDONALD) had 2 children. They think their names were Gladys and
Richard & Mary
