Subject: [INWHITLE] Chapman family
Hi, list
Its been some time since I last queried this list, but I am still lo
these many
years later still looking for Wilson E. Chapman. He died in
Whitley Co. in 1864, the husband of Lucy Ann Mosher Chapman. He is buried
in Greenville Cemetery. I was wondering, does anyone know if there are
records for this cemetery and where would I find them? Was this cemetery
connected with a church in 1864? Wilson's parents and place of birth (NY
1810) continue to elude me and perhaps there is a clue in the burial
records. No obit has come to light.
I am also trying to track down a death record, obit or cemetery
record for
Lucy's sister Lucinda Mosher Campbell who died in 1889 and is buried
in Ream
(Bethel) Cemetery. Does someone out there have access to obituaries for
that time period / location? If anyone has used or knows of a paid
researcher in Whitley Co., I would appreciate their address. I need some
help! Thanks, Cynthia
