Miles Isaac TREMBLEY was my great grandfather so yes we are indeed related!
He and two of his daughters immigrated to Canada in 1902. One of the
daughters was Dott TREMBLEY, my grandmother, the other was Gertie Irene Mary
(TREMBELY) HINTON KELLEY her older sister. I have a lot of information (and
some photos) on the TREMBLEY/SPENCER/COLE/WELSH/KELLEY/HOWELL/etc. families,
but have never come across any record to indicate any of them might be of
First Nations (Indian or Native) descent.
Cheers, San-Dee Lyons

Hello there!
My ancestor was Miles Isaac Trembley b. 1848 Whitley, IN, mother: Ellen
DeWitt (D.
Witt?) father: John S. Trembley. He married a woman named Louisa
Spencer b. Muskingum OH, her parents were Wilson Spencer and Sarah Cole. I
think we might be related... Miles lived in Oklahoma and Kansas Indian
Territory, he was in CO for awhile and died in Edmonton, Canada. Do you
know anything about this side of the family. Everyone always said that they
were Indian. Do you know if that is true? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
