Brenda,
Probably e-mail would be easiest. I'd be happy to share what I have as well. I
haven't run across any pictures other than a picture of the church the family attended
in Plymouth, OH. Zachariah's brother, Card (my great-great-great grandfather), donated
the bell. I have a few press clippings regarding the family. One in particular is from
6/25/1914 and speaks of a family reunion in Columbia City that was attended by Mr. Ruckman
Garrison (Zachariah's son 1850-1942).
I have been told that in 1934 Ruckman wrote a history of the Garrison family. My
understanding is that a two-page manuscript based on this account is in the possession of
Mrs. Lloyd Garrison of Ft. Wayne. However, I've not been able to locate her or the
manuscript.
Just curious, I know that Zachariah was married to Mary McCrea (McCreary?) before Anna
Ruckman. Do you know if Mary was William Garrison's mother? If not, I have trouble
making the dates work, since Zac married Anna in 1836, but William's birthdate is in
1834.
Anyway, I am happy to share everything I have. My project involves the entire descendancy
of William and Anna Garrison, which would include your husband's family, so I am very
excited about learning of Zachariah's descendants. I have soooooo many questions.
