Hi,
Are either Susannah or Solomon Kerns who are buried in this cemetery your ancestors? I
ask because the Solomon Kerns who was a Civil War veteran and who died in 1880 and who is
buried in this cemetery married Emily Snow and Emily was my great-grandfather's sister
(my great-grandfather was Newman Snow, Newman's father was Lovell Snow; Emily
Snow's father was also Lovell Snow but Newman and Emily Snow had different mothers).
Also do you know if Susannah Kerns was the widow of Adam Kerns and was Adam Kerns a
brother of Solomon Kerns?
My limited information on Solomon Kerns indicates he was married to Emily Snow in
Champaign County, Ohio, they had these children according to the 1880 Whitley County, IN
census for Coesse: George, Jacob, Lovell, Mary C, Dorothy and Joseph.
I just thought we might have some sort of connection here so I thought it was worth
asking.
Thanks. Sharon Snow Parrish, Jasper County, Indiana
