I am searching for descendants of the Jeffries family of Smith twp. The
Jeffries and related families were descendants of Saponi Indians from
the Virginia and North Carolina. They began migrating to Ohio and
Indiana about 1820. For more information on their native american

I am looking in particular for the descendants of Wiley Jeffries and his
wife, Manerva.
Wiley Jeffries, born on 12 May 1838, Tennessee, died in October 1904,
Whitley Co,IN (age at death: 66 years old). Married on 27 February 1868,
Greene Co.,OH, to Manerva Traylor, born about 1845, Ohio, died on 1
December 1894, Whitley Co,IN (age at death: possibly 49 years old), with
Minnie, born in October 1874, Greene Co.,OH, died - IN?. Married
to William Klinger, with
Wilma, born on 17 August 1895, Columbia City,Whitley Co,IN, died in
1982, Phoenix,Arizona (age at death: 87 years old). Married on 26
October 1916, Noble Co,IN, to William W. Miller, born on 9 November
1894, LaOtto,Noble Co,IN, died on 11 January 1970, Phoenix,AR (age at
death: 75 years old).
Minnie married on 27 May 1903, Gas City,IN, to James Tomlin.
John, born in 1876. John married a Mary E. about 1907, lived in
Churubusco and was a mechanic.
Charles, born after 1880 in Whitley Co.
Ruth, born in October 1887 in Whitley Co.
Any hints, clues on the whereabouts of the four children Minnie, John,
