Okay, I get it ....once I get to the website for" Life's lessons" at
familydiscovery.com
I type in a person named:.....CAVEAT EMPTOR and see what they charge me
to find him,
is this the deal?....He He He He.....I have no clue what that means
anyway, it would be interesting to see if they could find someone with
that name...
all kidding aside, I have been sent Familydiscovery.com's e-mails 2-3
times and if I had not been forwarned by another list several few weeks
back, I would have been very curious to see what was up, but I'm glad now
I was warned, because I don't need anymore spam of any kind, I get so
tired of it...and thru juno you cannot bloock the repeat offenders,
being very scott-irish, Eng and much German, I don't like to let go my
brass too easily, let alone for something that is supposed to be free....
Okay, now my families.....I have a BIG question, I have never seen nor
heard of a Will for my Henry MYERS b:1786 PA d: 9 Apr 1849. + Mary WIRICK
but I had never found a probate for him either, I ordered two films on
probate records for Whit he has a probate Nov 1849 of which says
absolutely nothing , it mentions who his Exe'rs were and says the case
will be settled such and such a date, then the final Estate paper (of
course was on the 2nd film)says the heirs have been paid except the
people who settled the estate they are to get there pay...it mentions no
heirs names no widow etc. I don't get it??? does this mean there must
have been a Will ?
I know when people die intestate(No Will) the probate info is usually
endless and very specifically names all the kids, wife, G-kids
everything.I'm not sure abt Whitley Co In because I have never dealt with
Probate
there before......WHAT DO YOU LISTERS THINK ??Help !!!!

Hi Angela,
It was a good day. I am way off the caffeine high and it was a
great day
for golf.
As I think most folks understood I was trying to make light of a not
so nice
situation but it did offer me the chance to confirm "Life's Lessons
Learned"

No matter what you do, say, or think there will be different points
of view
and vigorous opposition.
So far the score is three who saw the humor vs. one who didn't.
Yes.... I do love a good brouhaha.... :-) This one has been REAL
low key
though.... nary a flame in sight....:-)
I whole heartedly agree that folks need to be informed and you are
doing a
service by increasing awareness.
I do hope that the "good guys" out there are aware that the Internet
is a
representation of society in electronic form that you invite right
into your
home. There are all kinds out there. The Good, the Bad, and the
Ugly.
ANY AND ALL Internet solicitations should be considered suspect.
ANYONE can
put up a website and invite you to send them money. And low and
behold some
people send the money and are surprised when things go wrong. I on
the
other hand am surprised when things go right....:-) And they
have.... there
are legit operations out there.
FamilyDiscovery.com is a specific example of wide spread effort to
separate
folks from their money for less value than they expected. LOOK
BEFORE YOU
LEAP!!! and again.....CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!
Take care and thank you for your service?

WOW.... never heard of the Ab-Roller?!?!? I suppose you are
disclaiming all
knowledge of the Franklin Mint and their collector edition
plates/coins/and
figurines....:-)
You haven't missed much...It was the subject of the first
infomercials I
ever saw.....
