Message Board Post:
I know there were two William Browns in the Indiana census and both were married to an
Azubah. Really confusing. The one we don't want is William Riley Brown married to
Azubah and they had one child, Mary Ellen. I can follow them thru to the 1880 census but
that isn't the ones that I want. I was chasing rainbows there for a while. William is
listed as Wm., Riley, William and W. R. Brown. We can not find William Brown that married
to our Azubah in 1854 at all. Only the mention of a marriage, nothing further. At least
that is on the internet. I hired a researcher from the Indidan area and he didn't find
anything more then we already had with the exception of the second William Brown marriage.
Azubah and Samuel Spicer were in Richland Co., OH with three females under the age of 4 in
the 1840 census. Our Elizabeth, we feel, is one of those females. No death on Samuel, no
burial, and nothing in the Indiana area. Azubah signed Elizbaeth's marriage permission
paper to marry in 1856!
, two years after her marriage to William Brown. I am really at a loss.
