The 1880 image is definitely Martin and Ettie, not Henry and Etta. Ettie is a nickname
for Edith, not Georgietta. The last name looks like Frunk in the 1880 image. Which
probably is how its pronounced by someone with a german accent. There definitely is an
"r" between the "F" and what looks like "unk". My theory of
your Georgietta and Henry is that they were married at her parents home (VanMeter)in White
County and then went off to wherever he lived and came back years later. Perhaps when
Georgietta's grandfather or father died. Maybe she inherited land through one of
their wills. I would check VanMeter wills to see where she was when, as an heir, she was
notified of VanMeter deaths and I would check to see where their daughter (listed in the
1900 census), was born. Thanks again for your comments.
