While I don't think it is well used and not the official name, we have seen Obits from
the 1920s that called the Dobbins cemetery the Black Oak Cemetery. We assume this naming
came about because of the large black Oak tree in the cemetery.
My wife's family, the Meyer (Myer) August and wife Augusta and son Carl are buried
there. Also one of their daughters, Emma, married William Howard Dobbins. son (we
beleive)of Elder John Thomas Dobbins and Rutha Jane(Boulden) Dobbins.

The Dobbins family actually has their own cemetery which is located a little north of
Wolcott in Princeton Township.
Dorance W. Dobbins (1902-1991) is in row 3
There is a Saltwell buried there and a couple of Clarks but no Sophia anywhere to be found
in the cemetery records. Were they married at the time of her death?
You might want to locate where her parents were buried (I can’t find them in White County)
and see if she might be there as well.
