Nancy,
Thank you very much. I am wondering if I might be able to ask if you
could check your White Co. Index for a name. I am looking for the burial
site of Adaline Haskins. She married 1st Daniel Nulf. She then remarried
to a John McKelvey. I think she was still living after 1902. Would it be
possible to ask if you might be able to check for an Adeline McKelvey??
Thank you so much,
Mindy

Subject: Re: [INWHITE] Cemeteries and Churches
HI, I have the index to the White Co., Cemeteries. I looked up
the Wolcott/Christian Apostolic Cemetery and there doesn't seem
to be any church connected to these Cem.
It says: White Co., Princeton Twp, #27n, Range 5W, Sec. 30.
Located just east of Wolcott, IN on 100N betqween 700N & 800N on
a hill and can bee seem from US 24, to the north. Public
Cemetery. Publishen in Honey Creek, Princeton & West Point Twp.
Cem recds. White Co., IN Copied 1969 Updated 1995 White Co.
Genealogy Soc. 101 S. Bluff St., Monticello, IN 47960
Then it gives the list of everyone bur. there. I guess the
Statement "Public Cem." is your only clue as to the asson. of a
church etc. I don't know who would have recds. of this Cem.
Hope this is of some help. Nancy

Haskins was died 22 November 1851.
She was buried in the Christian Apostolic Cemetery in Wolcott.
Her son, William Morgan Haskins was died in 1909 and was buried in Swisher
Cemetery near Wolcott.
A Robert Hoskins, whom I believe to also be her son, was buried in 1884 in
Johnson Cemetery near Wolcott.
Does anyone know if there are any churches associated with these
cemeteries-particularly the Christian Apostolic Cemetery-is it
connected to
a church and if so are any records still existing?
I would like to know what churches were in existance in Idaville and
Wolcott during the mid-1800s.
Also, does anyone know if any of these cemeteries kept information on the
individuals who are buried there and how I could get that information?
Thanks,
Mindy
