Hi Karen - I have a very fragile copy of Volume II of the below
mentioned book - I don't seem to find a listing (my own index) for
Harlan or a John Colvin Brown - perhaps it is in Volume I, which I don't have.
Re. Riverview Cemetery Listings: The following entires are perhaps
these families:
Section: 6 Row 3:
(in a row in this order, as per White County Historical/Genealogical
Society index:)
Brown, A.C. (no stone)
Bur 11/1888
Brown, Anna M. (no stone)
Marshall, Florence R. (no stone)
Brown, J.G. Capt *(military)
Co. D. 9 Ind. Inf. GAR
Marshall Wm. P. *Military
Co D. 9 Ind. Inf. GAR
Marshall, Harry E * MIl
b 12/9/1866; d 12/1/1903
GAR?
So, there may not be stones to take pictures of.
Good luck!

I am hoping to locate someone that has the Bio. History of Tippecanoe,
White, Jasper, Newton, Benton, Warren and Pulaski Counties, IN 1899,
that can scan
the pages regarding John Colvin Brown for me.
His father was Harlan Shephed Brown. I think the book will confirm that.
Also, he and his wife are buried in the Riverview Cemetery in Monticello I
believe. I was hoping to find someone that would photograph
the markers for
me.
His daughter Florence Rosabell Marshall and her husband, William Marshall,
are also there. I would like photos of their markers, also.
HOPE TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Karen
