Hi Vicki,
I don't see anything for McQuown or McKuown in the Master Index - those
seem like really unusual spellings, so don't overlook other spellings of
those sounds - such as McGowan, McCowan, McQueen, McEwan, etc. I looked
for similar spellings in the White Co Cemeteries Master Index, and seemed
to be only one that was close that had a Mary (sortof!) as first name - a
Marion and Ardin F. McGowan supposedly listed in the Riverview Cemetery
listing - but there is no listing of that name in the Riverview index - so
must be a mistake in the Master Index. Is this Mary's maiden or a married
name? Any idea what township? (I have the censii of White County on CD,
but no index, so have to scan through it page by page, so helps if I know a
township!! - I will keep an eye out for her when I do any census work).
