I see a problem as I was entering info. The John Timmons with children Addie and Nettie and Minnie can not be the John Green Timmons who married Martha Droke McCully. I have them in Jackson Township, White County, IN census on page 16 in 1880. It has the children from his first marriage to Ruth Price as well as Martha's two sons from John McCully.

Thank you. You have come up with an answer for me. The Martha and George Gibson in David Droke's household in 1870 are the children of Cyrus Gibson and Catherine Droke. Cyrus had remarried (Mary Gibson, Robert Gibson's daughter) and had another family. Catherine was another of Harriet and Martha's sisters. George Gibson is my Great-Grandfather. Now I have another cousin(Amanda) of George's to follow!
By the way John McCully is listed in the census of 1850 living with Cyrus and Catherine and is 22 years old. I always wondered about that connection. According to your info he married Harriet two years later.

In the 1860 White Co., Indiana census the household consists of John (35), Martha (23) & Amanda (4) McCulley. John and Martha did not marry until May 23, 1860. The census date was July 2nd, 1860, so this couple had only been married a couple months, so my opinion is that Amanda McCulley is John and Harriet's daughter. I also think after the death of Harriet, John McCulley married her sister Martha.

Frank E. McCully, age 8, is listed in the household of David S. & Ellen Drake. Also listed in the household is a Harriet Gibson, age 18, born in IN, who was living with them in 1860 also.
David S. Drake is a brother to Harriet, Catherine & Martha Drake per 1850 White Co., IN census. Other siblings were Michael L., Jacob S., James S. & Eliza R Drake and parents were David & Rebecca Drake.
In 1880 Cass Twp., White Co., Indiana, John and Martha Timmons were found with his two children Addie & Nettie and their child Minnie.
In 1900-1910 John G & Mattie S. Timmons are found in Rock Creek Twp., Carroll Co., IN with his daughter Rosa (b: 1874)

Harriet (Hattie) Gibson) was not married to Cyrus Gibson. She was his daughter from his marriage to Catherine Droke.
She married John W. McCallister.
There is a Harriet Droke and a Martha Droke, sisters of Catherine Droke. One of them married John McCully. Census records point to Martha. They had Hamilton and Frank. After his death she married John Green Timmons. I am trying to figure out if Amanda Mcully was their daughter or Harriet married another McCully and had Amanda. Harriet died in April of 1856. Any one have any info on this family?

I have a Della Gibson born around 1892 that was the daughter of Nathan Chambers Gibson. Nathan was Robert Parkes Gibson's son. Does that tie in with your Gibsons at all?
