I have a lot of questions! I have a lot of name order issues, to describe it best. So his name is Forrest with two R's? Because I have seen it with one R and two R's and can't tie down and answer. Do you know where either couple married? Did both couples marry on the same day (Aug 20)? On Opal's name I have both Olive Opal and Opal Olive, do you have documentation that it is Opal O.? I also didn't have the Morehouse at all, is that from a previous marriage? I have her daughter as Eleanor Harris, do you have documentation for her name as well? I wanted to mention that on the 1910 census for Forest and Margaret, it has her as having two children one living and it listed Dean as that child. That is why I think there were three children. Maybe your grandmother knows. Another question I have is on the siblings of Forrest, was there 14 or 15? And just in case, I married a decendant of Forrest's brother Guy Charles (which was another name I had two different ways, but !
I have comfirmed it with his Granddaughter, I have a lot of those kinds of problems in the children of James Carey Stockton and Catherine Elizabeth Miller. If you would prefer e-mail to this posting I wouldn't mind. Thanks for all your help.

It's Forrest Henry Stockton, B. 20 Jan 1882. He married 20 Aug 1906 to Margaret Bennett, and they had two children, Dean Bennett Stockton, and Betty Morris Stockton, (my grandmother). Margaret died of the great flu epidemic on 24 Oct 1918 while they were living in Chico, Texas. My grandmother, Betty, was a year and a half, and they moved back to Indiana. He then remarried, Opal O. Morehouse Harris in 1919. She had a daughter, Olive Eleanor Harris, who died earlier this year. Betty is still alive in Indiana. Forrest died 20 Nov, 1951 in Lafayette, Indiana.
What else would you like to know?
Best, Rick

Les - What documentation do you have that says his name is Henry Forest? Do you have any of his siblings?
I also have a difference in the birth year, I have it as 1882.
He did indeed marry on August 20, 1906 to Margaret Bennett. I have them as having two children, but am beginning to think it was three.
