On older maps the schoolhouse which was near the mentioned intersection (non-brick school)
was commonly referred to as the Robb schoolhouse (Amos Robb, I believe was the property
owner. This north-south road (100E) was once known in this area as the Bethel Church road,
but was more widely known as the Murray road. A mile to the north, at the county line, the
road offsets to the west, and then continues north as the Smith road, in Allen county. So
Yes the gray wooden structure you located was once the Bethel Church. Tom McGinnis.
