I have had my DNA analyzed by this program and it has produced matches to
several people that I am related to. I now know where I must focus my
searches on my Harris' family. I know where the descendants ended up and was
able to deduce that prior to Bluffton, Indiana, my family came from
somewhere in Ohio and prior to that they were in West Virginia, at least
what is presently West Virginia. I still haven't had time to write to
Bluffton to get the info I need, but the DNA testing helped me narrow the
search. I know where I will end up now. Some on another list was rather
paranoid about it, and while paranoia is a good thing sometimes, I see no
danger in this, only good things.

Hi, all! If you get a chance to find March issue of NG, there is a
wonderful article or 3 in it on the DNA research that they are doing. It
includes some fairly "user friendly" explanations as to what the testing
can and will tell us at this time, as well as a glimpse into what will
be revealed in future studies.
Enjoy!
