Glenn W. Spade, 58, of Berne, formerly of Bluffton, died at midnight Friday at Decatur
Hospital, where he had suffered a heart attack early last evening. He had also suffered
previous attacks, one last Monday.
An employee of the Berne Furniture Co., he was formerly employed in Bluffton at the Cline
Lumber Co., and at one time at the Hubner Meat Market.
Born in Wells County Nov. 29, 1907, he was a son of William and Ella Mosure Spade. He was
married to Elizabeth Ebnit, at the Six Mile Church June 17, 1933.
Other survivors are two sons, Ron of Elkhart and Don of Berne, and the following three
sisters and one brother, all of Bluffton: Mrs. Dessie Hubner, Mrs. Nellie Mock, Mrs. Simon
(Helen) Ebnit and Floyd Spade. There is one grandchild.
Friends may call at the Yager Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Services will be at 2 p.m.
Monday at the West Missionary Church 3 1/2 miles west of Berne. Burial will be in M.R.E.
Cemetery.
