Moses Davison, 76, died at 5 o’clock this morning at his home one mile
west of Tocsin following a four or five week illness from heart trouble.
Born on Sept. 26, 1857, near Echo, he was a son of John and Rebecca
McKinsey Davison. When four years old he moved to the farm on which he
died, and had lived there ever since. He never married.
Mr. Davison is survived by on sister and three brothers, Mrs. Mary
Reavis, Peru; Henry and Joseph Davison, with whom he lived, and George
Davison near Tocsin. Nine nieces and eight nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the
residence in charge of Rev. A. S. Elzey. Burial will be in Oaklawn
cemetery at Ossian.
