Retired Lancaster Twp. farmer, Furl E. Davison, 88, who had resided the
past three years at Miller’s Merry Manor in Huntington died at 7 a. m.
today in Huntington Hospital. He had been in failing health three
months.
Born Oct. 22, 1891 in Jefferson Twp., he was a son of David and Ida
Hower Davison. His marriage to Amy Davis, who died in October 1978, took
place in Bluffton 1911.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Vivian) Elzey and Mrs. Vaughn
(Viola) Hubley, both of Huntington; two sons, Vance Davison of Bluffton
Route 5 and Verlin Davison of Uniondale Route 1; a brother, Virgil
Davison of Albuquerque, N. M.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Boudiker of Fort
Wayne, 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Calling will be after 7 p. m. Sunday at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home.
Following services at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home, burial
will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery at Ossian.
