David Davidson, 62, died at 4:15 o’clock Sunday morning at the home of
his son, Furl Davidson, residing south of Ossian. He had been ill six
years suffering from paralysis but the direct cause of his death was
ureimic poisoning and pneumonia.
Mr. Davidson was born near Echo, July 18, 1866, son of Milford and Mary
Gibson Davidson. He married Adeliah Hower, who survives.
He was a member of the Emmaus Methodist church.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Clem Gibson, and Virgil
Davidson, both of Kingsland; Mrs. Ed Gaunt and Mrs. Mary Bodecker, both
of Fort Wayne; and Furl Davison; three brothers, Marcellus Davidson and
Elmer Davidson, both of Willshire, O.: Brayton, residing southwest of
Ossian; three sisters, Mrs. Simon Julian, near Craigville; Mrs. Theodore
Shady, near Kingsland; and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, near Ossian.
The funeral will be held at the Ossian Methodist church at 2 o’clock
Tuesday afternoon. Burial in the Ossian cemetery.
