Mrs. Nettie May Grove, 69, died at 10 p.m. Monday at her home at 523 South Indiana street.
She had been ill only four hours and death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage.
The decedent was born Feb. 24, 1879 in Stone Bluff, a daughter of William and Elizabeth
Jane McHarry Ochetree. Her marriage to William Grove took place in Bluffton on Sept. 7,
1929. She had been a resident of Wells county for the past 19 years.
Surviving besides the husband are a son, Herman Dove, of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers,
Braze Olin Ocheltree, of Covington, and Marvin McKinley Ocheltree, of Kenosha, Wisc.;
three sisters, Mrs. Anna Evelee Zimmerman, of Joliet, Ill., Mrs. Elsie O. Jones, of
Bluffton, and Mrs. Lela Belle Blacker, of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, and one
great-grandchild. One sister is deceased.
The body will be taken at 5 0'clock this evening from the Jahn funeral home to the
residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the residence with
Rev. Matthew Worthman officiating. Burial will be in the Elm Grove cemetery.
