Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone know of, heard of the murder of John Fryback
by William Logan, in Wells Co., IN?
This happened in the 1850's after a man with the name of Wilson became judge.
The Fryback and Logan families where right next door in the 1850 census.
Both living in Rock Creek. William Logan was 22 & living with his family. John
Fryback was married with two children. One of them also John.
I do find his son John in later census. I cannt find his wife, Sarah.
See below.

I found this in the Wells Co., IN Rootsweb site and wondered if anyone has
any knowledge of this? I tried searching on the net and couldn't find anything.
I tried following the trail of a Wm. Logan who was in Rock Creek Twp., Wells
Co., IN in the 1850 census. He was 22. The Frybacks were in Wells Co. too.
There is no Wm. Logan in the 1860 census that I can find.
Does someone have knowledge of this? Access to the Bluffton Banner?
Many thanks for anything. Lynn LynnsPL81(a)aol.com
