C. R. Lane, of Fort Wayne, spent the week-end with his daughter, Mrs. G. L. Knight.
The Woman's Home Missionary society of the Church of God will meet with the president,
Mrs. O. O. Tracy, Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Frank Fogwell, daughters Mary and Martha returned to their home near Huntington
Sunday, after spending several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Woody Keplinger.
Mr. and Mrs. Philip Motz, Mrs. J. P. Corll and daughters spent Saturday afternoon in
Markle.
Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Hartup were in Fort Wayne Saturday .
Mrs. Von Knight and son David left Sunday for Chicago where she will spend several weeks
visiting relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Snyder entertained in their home Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Chester Motz
and family of Nine Mile; Mrs. and Mrs. Philip Motz and Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Corll and
daughters.
A large crowd attended Cal Folks meeting held at the Uniontown church, Sunday. Rev. Mr.
Cole of Huntington gave the address. Rededication of the church which was remodeled
recently was held at the same time.
Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Weaver and family of Fort Wayne were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan
Weaver.
Mr. and Mrs. George Fogwell and family of Nine Mile, Miss Phoebe Summers of Ossian, Mrs.
Allie Plummer and daughter Wilma of Fort Wayne were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Woody
Keplinger.
Mr. and Mrs. Garry Byrd and family of Huntington spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Edd
Corll.
Mr. and Mrs. Vance Wilson of Fort Wayne spent Sunday with relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. Homer Corll were shopping in Fort Wayne, Saturday. Mrs. Jane Cartwright of
Markle, spent Saturday and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Snyder.
Mr. and Mrs. James Hoover, Mr. and Mrs. John Arhcbold (sic) and children of Ossian were
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoover.
