Uniondale News
One of the most enjoyable social events of the season was held Friday night, October 20,
when Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lesh entertained the "Higher Boosters" of the Horeb Sunday
school at their country home, on the Daniel Lesh farm. The house was appropriately
decorated with black cats, witches, corn fodder and jack-o'-lanterns. Mrs. Lesh
served refreshments. Those who came masked and enjoyed the evening were: Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Collins and daughter, Ruth; Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Decker and daughters, Dorothy,
Alice and Opal; Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Haflich, Mr. and Mrs. George Alshouse and daughter,
Helen; Mr. and Mrs. George Farling, Samuel Farling, Benjamin Farling, Mr. and Mrs. William
Shadle and son, Victor; Mrs. McElhaney, of Liberty Center; Mr. and Mrs. Homer McElhaney,
Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Gimmel and daughters, Lillian and Alice; Mr. and Mrs. Linton Kopp,
