Mr. and Mrs. U. S. Lesh and son, of Indianapolis; Mrs. Sarah Lesh, of Markle, Mrs.
McElhaney, of Liberty Center, and Mr. and Mrs. Homer McElhaney spent Sunday in the Joe
Lesh home.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Collins and daughter, Ruth, spent Sunday in the Frank Collins home at
Warren.
Mr. and Mrs. Homer Raber and sons, Wayne and Earl, Mr. and Mrs. John Bailey and daughters,
Elizabeth and Mary, John Gilbert and daughter, Ruth and Mrs. Lola Gilbert and children,
Kathleen, Nova, Lee, and Jerald, were Sunday dinner guests in the Mart Gilbert home.
Mr. and Mrs. Chet Brickley arrived home recently from a month's visit in Kansas.
The new Lutheran church will be dedicated October 3.
Mr. and Mrs. John Haflich, sr., left Tuesday for Newata, Okla., for an extended visit with
their son, George and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Larue Roudebush, Mr. and Mrs. George Roudebush and Mr. and Mrs. John Haflich
and son Richard, and daughter, Laura May, spent Sunday in the Charles Hamilton home in
Roanoke.
About 50 young people of the Liberal U. B. church at Zanesville enjoyed a picnic at
Boiling Springs, one mile south of here Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Baumgartner and family, of Fort Wayne, spent Sunday in the Lewis Platt
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bickel entertained at Sunday dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Charles King and
daughters, Nina and Ruth, Chester Besore and Mr. and Mrs. Everett King and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardenour, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Griffin and sons, Eugene and Junior, spent
Sunday in the Howard Gardenour home in Fort Wayne.
Mr. and Mrs. William Odler and sons, Herschel and Arthur, spent Sunday in the Eldo
Wilkison home, south of Bluffton.

The Ladies' Aid society will meet in the Methodist church Thursday to prepare for
their booth at the Bluffton street fair.
