Susie,
Go South on I69 to I469 (south loop around FortWayne). Go east on I469 to the Zanesville Exit(Indianapolis Rd, I think and I believe it is the first exit) Go South on Indianapolis to Zanesville. At the four corners in Zanesville (this is a small town with just a few business, grocery store on the northwest corner), turn left go about one Mile east to the first road which goes south only. Turn right got south to the Church and Cemetery. Hope this helps. My GGGrandfather and GGGrandmother is buried buried in the cemetery too.

The Cemetery Page for Wells County is located here:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~inwells/gs/cemtwps.html
There is a Uniontown Cemetery located by Zanesville. This may be the
one you are looking for. If so, the address is given on that page as
well as a map and a partial burial listing.
Hope this helps.
Linda Thomas
The reason you cannot find Uniontown is because it is no longer considered a
town or village. Are you looking for OLD Uniontown Cemetery or the newer one
that is located by the church? If you are looking for the OLD Uniontown I'm
afraid it will be very difficult to get to this time of year. It is located
up a long lane (suppose to be a road) and then you have to climb a hill,
crawl over a fence and hope the weeds are not too high for you to see what
you looking for. It is definitely a neglected cemetery. However, many of the
graves were moved to the newer cemetery by the church when it was started.
So you will probably be better off looking there first. If you will give me
the names you are searching for I can tell you which cemetery it is in. If
you would like me to help you find you graves please contact me personally
and we can talk more. cbrubaker(a)onlyinternet.net

We are going to be going very close to Wells County and I want to visit the Old Uniontown Cemetery there. The problem
is I cannot find anything called Uniontown on a map, and mapquest is a lost cause also. The temps here are in the 90's and I woulf rather not drive in circles trying to find it. We are coming from Elkhart and headed for Ohio via Fort Wayne this trip is always hard on my husband who is disabled and any help on directions would be greatly appreciated. I am not asking for them from elkhart but from Fort Wayne which I think should be close or the name the town now goes by. THANK YOU
