I don't think there is any connect between the two Ezekiel Parkers. Ezekiel W. Parker, who was the first felon in Wells County, was born ca. 1801 in New York. He was married to Annie/Anna [Wood?] about 1830, probably in Ohio. His children were: Andrew J., b. ca. 1831 Ohio; Sarah L., b. ca. 1833 Ohio; Herrick H., b. ca. 1835 Ohio; George W., b. 1837 Ohio; Anna Marinda, b. ca. 1839 Ohio or Indiana; Ezekiel, b. ca. 1842 Ohio; and Benjamin C., b. ca. 1844, Ohio or Indiana. After Ezekiel died in 1844, the widow and children returned to Ohio.

I have a census record of Ezekiel Parker with his family in Hamilton, Indiana 1850. Could this be a connection? Could the Ezekiel Parker you are looking for be the father of My Ezekiel Parker? I would like any info you have. I am trying to find more on him. He was from NC. His Daughter Cassie married my Stewart and has a son 2 years of age but Stewart dies before 1850. If we can connect I would love to hear from you.
Hey gang,
Just a short reminder to the vets and newbies at this site of my free research for the asking here at Andersonville. Of the 41000 Union soldiers on record, 1954 are from Indiana.
Please email me directly at Frye(a)pstel.net with request so we dont tie up the county site.
