Mrs. Aeschliman Dies at Age 84
Mrs. Aldine Aeschliman, 84, wife of Joel H. Aeschliman, 307 West Wabash
St., died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Cooper Rest Home after an illness
of seven months.
She was born Feb. 20, 1875, in Adams County to John and Ica Baller
Frauhiger. Her marriage May 23, 1920, at Bluffton was to Joel H.
Aeschliman, who survives.
A lifelong resident of this county, she was a member of the Apostolic
Christian Church.
Surviving in addition to the husband, are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles
(Miriam) Wilhelm of Bluffton Route 2; a foster daughter, Mrs. Clara Tonner
of Bluffton Route 4, and seven grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, William Frauhiger of Bluffton Route 4 and
John Frauhiger of Craigville Route 1; three half-brothers, Levi Frauhiger
of Decatur Route 4; Amos and Adam Frauhiger, both of Bluffton Route 4; a
sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Reinhart of Bluffton, and four half-sisters, Mrs.
Jeff Heyerly of Bluffton Route 4, Mrs. Eli Dubach of Geneva, Mrs. Leroy
Beer of Decatur Route 3 and Mrs. Rose Beer of Berne.
Friends may call at the Goodwin Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and at
2 p.m. at the Apostolic Christian Church. Rev. John Yergler will officiate
and burial will be in the church cemetery.
