James Lawrence LeFavour (variations on the spelling possible such as Lafavor, LeFevor, Lefever, Lafever) may have died in Bluffton area, Wells Co. IN ca. 1860. If anyone finds his name or a similar name in any cemetery sources, death records, etc. I would appreciate any information re his whereabouts. Thanks.

Starting today (Monday, 6/10) and extending over several days, RootsWeb
is
going to be moving the list servers and other machines.
No messages sent are expected to be lost, but the lists will be down for
a
while when it happens; please don't post "why aren't I getting mail"
during
that time.....you will when it comes back up, and you don't want half of
it
to be everyone on the list asking why aren't they getting mail. <g>
If you have trouble reaching other RW servers this week, it's probably
for
the same reason; try again in an hour or two or three.....
Thanks!
( and thanks to the original author for saving me the time to write
this)

Thank you for your response. I knew David Phillips had married Maria Spangelo, as I found them buried in the same plot (apparently) as my great-grandfather Levi Grover Phillips, and his son and daughter-in law when I was researching him. Unfortunately, my great-grandmother does not appear to be buried with them, so her death date and place of burial remain a mystery at the moment. Thank you for the offer, I will contact you off privately for further information.
Natalie

I have some more info on Levi & Rachel Phillips...
Martha-married to John Spangelo(born Jens Hess Jennson Spangelo in Norway). This was John's 3rd marriage and he is my g-g-gf by his 1st marriage. John and Martha and their children moved to Beaulieu Twp., Pembina Co., ND and are buried in a small cemetery between Concrete and Walhalla, ND.
We had a Spangelo reunion in 2000 near there and there are quite a number of descendants. The name Spangelo is a farm name in the Lærdal valley, west of Bergen, Norway.
David-married Maria Spangelo who is a daughter of John Spangelo and his 1st wife, Jochumine Ohmann. David and Maria did not have any children and lived in North Dakota in 1900 and later near Detroit Lakes, MN where they are both buried.
S. Phillips of Humbird, WI was the informant on David's death certificate in 1928.
If you would like to correspond more on the Spangelo family, please contact me off-list. I have much info on the family.
