I need a marriage date for Wanda Marie Grimm and Wilbur Hesher. They were
probably married around 1940. Does anyone have any info on this family?
Wanda's parents were Russell Grimm and Doris Johnson of Wells Co. - who were
Wilbur's parents?

MORE INFORMATION NEEDED !!!
Mary: Do you have Jacob Shively's line back a couple generations? I
think they connect with my husband's Shively line but cannot prove it
yet. The obit for Jacob states his parents were Uriah and Christina
Shively of PA. Do you know who Uriah's parents were? Did you check
cemetery records for Union and Rock Creek Twps. in both Wells and
Huntington Counties for Joseph? If he had a headstone, that might give
you a date.
Diane Miller
Mary,
Joseph Shively's half-sister, Mary, was the wife of a brother of one
of my grandfathers.
I show Joseph still with Jacob Sr's family in the 1860 census for
Rockcreek Twp Wells Co IN (Dwelling 249/Family 246). Joseph was
listed as 19 years old and a farmer.
As you mention, he is listed as deceased in the 1887 history.
He is not, of course, listed in Jacob Shively Sr's will (Wells Circuit
Court Estate 1240, closed 11 Oct 1899 after Jacob Sr. died 12 Aug
1898) which lists Jacob's heirs as Henry, George, Susan & Lydia
Shively, Jacob Shively Jr., Martha Michaels, Eliza (Elizabeth)
Mishler, Lizzie Rarick, Maria Sheets, Rebecca Mast, Flora Eichhorn and
Mary Sellers.
Neither is Joseph listed in 1897 guardianship papers for Jacob Sr.
Sorry I do not have information about the exact dates you want. I did
not search for Jacob's children in the other court records & it occurs
to me records regarding Joseph might appear there.
Don't know the source of this FamilySearch IGI record or if it's the
"right" Joseph Shively but on 22 Nov 1863 in Huntington Co IN a Joseph
Shively is listed as marrying Catharine Snyder. No listing in the
court record notes that I have for a Catharine Shively.

I am looking for information on Joseph Shively b. Huntington Co., IND in
1840. He is shown to have died in 1866 according to only record I can find
of him.He was the oldest son of Jacob Shively and his first wife, Rebecca
Brower.
I am particularly interested in finding if anyone has an exact date of
birth and/ordate of death for Joseph. Tghe last time oeph was mentionedwith
this family was in the 1850 census for Wells Co. His father was quite promintent
in Wells Co. but all his biography mentions was that Joseph was deceased.
If you have more questions about this, please see my posting in the Shively
Forum.
I have not checked this out -- just passing it on.
