To follow up on my last email, I checked further and found that in the 1850
Census records, Franklin Twp., Washington Co., IN P 726 (364B) that Lucretia
Naugle, whom I thought to be a sister of Sarah J. Naugle, may be a cousin,
as there is what looks like a Louticia Naugle, Age 11 IN (whom I believe is
Lucretia) living in the Elizabeth Naugle, Age 36 KY, Household, along
with Francis M. Naugle, Age 10 IN, Dolly A. Naugle, Age 7 IN, and Sarah E.
Naugle, Age 4 KY. It looks like Elizabeth Naugle is without a husband.
The Andrew and Elizabeth Naugle Household is, in the 1850 Census, on P 761
(382A) of Franklin Twp, without any Lucretia or similar name, but does
include Sarah J. Age 3 IN, among the other siblings of Henry 17, Lydia A.
16, John 14, Joseph 12, Levi 10, Nicholas 8, Elizabeth 6, Sarah J. 3, Noah
R. 0, all born in IN, and Andrew's Father (probably) Nicholas Naugle Age 84,
PA.
The first husband of Lucretia Naugle was Oliver W. Huston, and he is found
with his family in the 1850 Washington Co., IN FC Salem, on P 635 (319A).
His family is Samuel M. Huston, 46 KY, Rebecca 46 PA, Erasmus P. 23 IN,
James O. 12 IN, and Daniel W. 10 IN.
Looking on the world connect project, some researchers have Oliver Huston's
middle name as Wilson, not Webb as I had thought, probably because his
mother is listed as Rebecca Wilson in those same family trees.
I also mentioned that there was an Oliver Webb listed in the 1870 Household
of Thomas and Lucretia Carlin (Carlile) but it should have read Webster, not
Webb.
