I have the Monroe Twp. Wash. Co IN cemetery book. In Peugh Cemetery, they list 3 Davis
graves: Elijah H. b 1805 d 29 Sept 1887, age 82 y 1 m 21 d; son of James andNancy Hawkins
Davis. Paulina H. b 13 Jan 1810 d 13 Mar 1887, age 77 y 2 m 21 d; wife of Elijah;
daughter of Larkin & Elizabeth McClary Nicholson. And, Ezra L. b 7 Aug 1832 d 8
June 1909; husband of Mary Birdsong. The Callaway graves at Peugh include Franky wife of
James, Noble son of Micajah & Franky, Martha Catherine wife of Noble, John Hawkins son
of Micajah and Franky Hawkins Calloway, Alice daughter of Noble, Burwell son of Edmund
& Nancy Crockett Calloway, Micajah Sr. husband of Mary Arnold and Frankie Hawins,
Frankie Hawins wife of Micajah, and Edmund, son of Micajah.
Thesenames are all on page 11 of the 1985 version of the cemetery book. I hope this

Also in that cemetery rests Archibald Johnson, another Rev. War vet. Micajah Callaway and
Archibald Johnson and their families took refuse in the fort built by John Fleenor and his
family nearby. The Logan and Hattabaugh forts were a few miles away. Contact me if I
