I'm looking for the burial location for James Davis (1779-1844 or 1845) and wife Nancy
"Hawkins" Davis (1781-1879) They lived 4 miles north of Salem next door to
Micajah Callaway. Micajah is buried in the Peugh Cemetery and I thing that they may also
be. James mother is also probably buried there but I have never heard a name mentioned. I
believe she was living with them around 1836 to her death and would have been born
sometime in the mid 1700s. Also Elijah(1805-1887) and Paulina "Nicholson"
Davis(1810-1887).
I believe they are all buried in the same cemetery probably north of Salem.
