Although this is not my line (the Clicks married into my Pavey line) I did
do some checking around and may have gotten some leads.....
John Brugh married Elizabeth Stover Sept. 15, 1831, Washington Co, IN.
According to the Hoosier Journal of Ancestry Washington Co. Special, they
were married by John Wright, MG (He also married Emanuel Brugh (their
spelling) and Elizabeth Click Oct. 24, 1833.)
John & Emanuel may well have been brothers.
Emma Stover (below) may have been Amelia RADAR who was Amy Radar who married
Abraham Stover in Botetourt Co, VA June 29, 1811. This marriage I found in
GenLibrary.
1850 Washington Co, IN, Washington twp, pg. 330 census shows a Peter Brough,
17, IN living in Abraham and Emily Stover's hh. (Simon Peter Brough,
probably.)
1860 Washington Co, IN, Washington twp, pg. 213 census shows Abraham & Emma
Stover living in between Peter Brough, 27 (wife Sarah, 19) and (F. M>?)
Hinds and family (including a Mary J. Brough) on the other side.
1870 Washington Co, IN, Washington twp. Census shows Peter Bugh (sic), 37
and his family living in the Abraham & Emma Stover residence.
Hope this helps someone.

Hi,
I'm trying to connect a Cecilia Braugh (my 4th great-grandfather) to the
families of Emanuel Brough & Elizabeth Click. I understand that Elizabeth
Click was the daughter of Jacob Click and Margaret Ratts.
Cecilia or Cela was born in 1836 in Washington County, Indiana. She married
James Hinds in 1856. In the 1840 census record Emanuel Brough is livng next
to James Hinds and Rhinehart Ratts and Godfrey Ratts are listed on the same
page.
From papers written by my great-grandmother she said that Cecilia was
of
German decent and that her family came from the Carolinas and eventually
moved to Washington County, Indiana.
I'm also trying to connect the Brough, Hinds and Stover families together.
If anyone can help or knows of any information that might help me in my
search, I'd be much obliged.
