Grandma LEMON is slowly improving from the injury received several weeks
ago.
David VanCLEAVE, of Ness Co.,Kansas, has been visiting relatives near here
for a few weeks.
J.F.HUBBARD and wife, of Campbellsburg, spent Sunday with their daughter,
Mrs. Laura ELGIN.
Miss Kitty BADGER returned to her home at Spencer today, after spending two
weeks with her mother, Grandma LEMON.
We were kindly remembered with a supply of nice cake from the birthday
dinner of Uncle Gaddis GLOVER for which they have our thanks. (personal
note: this is Thomas Gaddis Glover, my gr-gr-gr-grandfather b:1805 d:1892)
E.S.LEMON's horse, Jesse Mac, took $35 in premiums the the Bedford fair last
week. First premium for general purpose and sweepstakes, this being the only
classes in which he was shown.
