Attorney S.D. HENDRICKS attended court at Paoli last Monday
Mrs. Sophia HAHN, of Paoli, celebrated he 91st birthday on the 7th.
Mr. James PEUGH, solicitor for the Pythian Journal, was in Campbellsburg
Friday.
L.O. SALTMARSH, of Chicago, visited his mother, Mrs. Ann COLLIER, last
Friday.
Mrs. Allen PURKISER, of Vernon township, who has been sick so long, is
improving.
Mark STEPHENSON is having a well bored on his premises on east Oak street.
Dr. DOOLITTLE is making rapid progress in riding his bicycle. He will soon
be an expert.
Miss Mattie MARTIN, of Mill Creek, was the guest of Mrs. R.C. MARTIN the
first of the week.
Mrs. Mollie HAYS left Monday morning for Dugger, Green county, where she
will join her husband who has employment there. They will make their future
home at that place.
Mart. MAUDLIN, of West Baden, spent Sunday with home folks.
H.J. DAVIS, of Oskaloosa, IL, remits the cash for a six months subscription
to the Graphic.
William DICKEY, brakeman on the little Monon, and Robert TAGGART, of
Orleans, spent Sunday in Campbellsburg.
Mrs. Joshua BROWN severely sprained her ankle one day last week and was
unable to walk for several days.
Mrs. R.P.MATHER, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. MATHER, and two sons, Johnny and Otho,
attended the Bedford fair last Friday.
In interesting teachers' institute was held in Campbellsburg last Saturday.
County Superintendent, W.C. SNYDER was present.
Misses Lula MOORE and Daisy BLACKWELL, or Mitchell, spent Sunday in
Campbellsburg, the guests of their cousin, Miss Edith LEE.
Elijah RUSSELL has been granted an increase of pension of $4 per month. He
will now draw $12. --Darlington Echo-- Mr. R was formerly a resident of this
vicinity and is a subscriber to the Graphic.
Gaddeus Glover, of Claysville, having reached the 86th mile position in
life, the event was celebrated last Thursday, October 8th, by a grand dinner
of which seventy-three relatives and friends partook. There were sixteen
large cakes which were excellent, as yet editor can testify having sampled
some of the same. Mr. Glover is very active for one of his age and bids fair
to live to enjoy several more birthday anniversaries.
(note: Thomas Gaddis Glover, my gr-gr-gr-grandfather died Jan 1,1892)
P.D. DIEFENDORF has purchased Mark STEPHENSON's property. We hope that Mark
will continue to reside in our town for his is an excellent citizen.

owned by Thomas WILKINS.
