Janice,
I'm sorry, but I don't have anything on Thomas & Elizabeth (HARMON) MITCHELL
in my records. However, that isn't saying much as I have very little
information on them (working on FGS now.) My first guess on who she may
have been would possibly be a sister to Matthias HARMON, who I show to have
been b: abt. 1774 in Randolph Co, NC and died abt. 1856, IN. He came to
Washington Co. fairly early. He was the son of Cutliff & Susan (FOUTS)
HARMON (undocumented by me, but thought to be accurate.) Matthias' son,
Cutliff HARMON (wife, Penina NEWBY) I have read was born in KY (no proof one
way or the other.) Wish I could have been some help. Maybe someone else
out there can?
Marsha McWilliams

Are there any others working on this line? I don't know Elizabeth's parents.
Did they move to Washington County also. Martha McWilliams could there be a
connection to your Harmon line?
Thanks,
