I don't have any information on the adoption except that he was adopted as a baby, as was raised as one of his sons. Your gr-grandmother visited with Mrs Ivy Bogle and Mrs Ed Moore, I don't know how Mrs Ed Moore is related.( I haven't tried to find out) I do know that Rosanna Radcliff was known as White Fawn, and that her mother was known as White Dove their Indian Names. I have a picture of Rosanna she looks Indian to me also. But that doesn't mean anything. I haven't call any people to try and locate a male descendant hoping to find someone who is researching or knows one of them. Thank you so much for the Grear information! I lived in New Albany most of my life, and very familiar with Louisville,KY a wonderful city! Plan to move back there when I retire in a few years. Been to Jasonville,IN a few times with shirt-tail cousin kin living in the area.

Do you know who my grandmother visited in the 1950's or where I would find such informtion regarding the Indian Heritage? The Indian Heritage would be from William V. Radcliff side. William married Syn. Dillard. I do remember my gandmother looked very much like an Indian. She was a good and caring person.

Mary Elizabeth Bierly Radcliff lived with Luella and Charles DeCourcy around 1900. Mary died after 1900 In Indiana. On RootsWeb.Com (free) under World Connect Project, French Moe's, you can find so much on this lineage.
William V. Radcliff was married to Synthia Dillard on Ja. 23, 1834 inIndiana. William V Radcliff later married Mary Elizabeth Bierly in 1852. Luella was my mothers grandmother and my great grandmother. On family search, Individual Record Pedigree Rescource file one can find more information. If I can find it I have a copy of Luella death certificate along with more information obtained from a bible. Do you have information regarding Charles Radcliff adoption? Hope this helps!

I am looking for documentation of my great, great, great grandfather John
Collin's birth in Bath County, VA, about 1789, any biographical sketches, etc.,
and of his move (dates, etc.) to Washington County, Ind. I'm also interested
in documentation of his service in the War of 1812, and anything regarding
his seeking of a military pension in land in Jefferson, Ind. I'm also
interested in any information about his parents. Thank you very much!
