WEST LEBANON -- Rebecca D. Harper Anthrop, 60, died at 1:25 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009,
at her residence. Born Nov. 22, 1948, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of Margaret
Jones Harper and the late William Harper. She grew up in the Lafayette
area and graduated from Southwestern High School in 1966.Her marriage was to Robert
Anthrop Sr. on Oct. 19, 1968, in Lafayette. He survives. Mrs.
Anthrop was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in
Attica. She was a former partner of Anthrop's Auto Repair Shop in
Lafayette. She had last worked for Tru-Flex Metal Hose Corp. in West
Lebanon. Surviving
along with her husband and mother are five children, Cathy Blankman
(husband: Tim) of West Lafayette, Cindy Allison (husband: Jeff) of
Attica, Mike Anthrop (wife: Rochelle) and Robert Anthrop Jr. (wife:
Crystal), both of Pine Village, and Carey Harris (husband: Tim) of
Williamsport; four brothers, William Edwards (wife: Carol) of
Waynetown, Kenny Harper (wife: Carol) in Kentucky, Delmar "Del" Harper
(wife: Bev) of Lafayette and Jack Harper (wife: Carolyn) of St. Louis;
and one sister, Barb Ket (husband: Steve) of Colorado Springs, Colo. Also surviving are 20
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Rosary
will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with
visitation to follow from 5-8 p.m. Services at St. Francis Xavier
Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, with Father David Rasner
officiating. Burial at Highland Cemetery, Williamsport. Contributions
