Oh, heavens no, Jeanne! I didn't explain very well in my email. I already
have all that census information that I listed. I just listed it, in case
you saw Richard Odle in a Census with any of the other names in his
household. I am just looking for information on Richard and Elizabeth
Dawson Odle between their move to Warren County (after 1830) and when they
died in 1841 and 1844. I'm trying to find out the names of their children,
other than Asenath.
I did look at the Family Search site and that is a different Asenath. I
have been emailed by another Odle researcher in Ohio and she has the other
Asenath. Mine married Samuel Thomas in Ross Co., Ohio 1821. My Asenath
also was married twice, as Samuel died in 1843. She remarried to Frederick
Waymire in 1843, after living with her father for awhile. I have found
another marriage of an Asenath Odle to William Ridenour in 1819, but I don't
think that one is mine.
Hmmm....I wonder if Richard had a will? Does you or anyone know if there is
a will index anywhere for Warren Co?
Thanks for your offer anyway, Jeanne!
Debbie

Hi Debbie,
Have you looked in:
http://www.familysearch.org/ ??
There are two ancestral files and one pedigree file. (Lot's of information
on your Asenath A Odle.) Looks like your GGG grandmother was married twice,
*IF* this person has correct information!!
There are at least two other people researching this family:
Richard L. RICE
# 14 Traders Way Nashua, NH 03063
and
Submitter(s):
MRS RAKAY SORENSEN
840 COACHMAN DRIVE
IDAHO FALLS ID
USA 83402 Have you tried to contact either?
Randolph Co. IN has a younger Asenath who married Robert M. Jack on 14 Jun
1849 in Randolph IN.
There are other Odle's and other Jack's living next to each other or in the
same dwelling (this is from 1850 IN census)
I don't mind looking up **specific names** but I really don't have time to
look for the whole list you sent. Here are the resources I have. 1850 IN
census microfilm
1860 IN Index
1880 Index of every state.
It might be worth your while to have your local library get you the 1850
Randolph Co. census on loan, so you can view and print out all of the ones
you're interested in. If that isn't an option, let me know. I could print
out and send them to you by "snail mail" that would be much easier, and
quicker, for me. but It would take much longer to lookup and type out every
one for you.
I like helping others. I am in fact a volunteer on a couple lists. I just
like to limit the number of names per lookup.
Hope you understand, and that I have/can be of help to you.
