I have a Daniel and Jane McINTOSH who moved to Pike Twp in 1819. (SHOULD
READ 1830). Were there any churches in the area that early? I know they
attended West Lebanon Church, but I see it didn't start until 1855. I am
trying to find where they would have attended before that church began. Pam

Does anyone know if the early records fopr West Lebanon Church are available
and if this church is still in operation? I am looking for Church records for
Daniel and Jane McINTOSH. When did this church begin? Thank you, Pam
My great-grandfather, Wallace BAILEY died about March 1890 . He lived and is buried at GreenHill , Warren County.
Family legend has it that he died at about the age of 44 years old by falling through the ice and drowning and his body was not recovered until some time after .. Where would be the best place to find an obit for Wallace ? He was married to Chesafy Dawson Bailey .

Wendy,
Well, I was hoping his name was William, but I really wanted him to be
s/o James Siddens & Mary Adaline Sicks. Looks more like he is the s/o
William Siddens although his age/dob in 1900 matches up James's son.
Thanks for your help.

Could someone lookip the 1860 census of Pike Twp for Jane MCINTOSH for me.
She would probably have been living with sons-John, Lewis, James H. or
Daniel.. Her husband died in 1850. She is with son John in the 1870 census.
Pam
Is there an obituary or are there newspapers for the era 1872 in Steuben or
West Lebanon Twps., Warren, IN? I am looking for an obit for Jane McINTOSH
(unproven daughter of Andrew McCALLA)-married to Daniel McINTOSH who died 28
October 1850 Steuben or west Lebanon Twp, Warren, IN. If there were 1850
newspapers, I would also like Daniel's obituary. Pam
John and Zernah (or Zeruah or Zerniah) NORTON born in ME or MA born in late
1700's. Settled in Steuben Twp about 1827.
Could someone check for an 1840 or 1850 census record for them? I am trying
to find time of death.
Is there a published record for deeds in Steuben Twp? A plat map or other
records for deeds. I am looking for John NORTON who settled in 1827 with
brother Zachariah in Steuben Twp. Pam
I am looking for information (wife, death date, etc) for Zachariah NORTON who
settled in Steuben Twp in 1827 with the BUTTERFIELD and other families. I see
in the marriage records, quite a few NORTON BUTTERFIELD marriages. Zachariah
was born MA or ME and is buried in TILLOTSON Cemetery. Pam
I am looking for information on Zachariah NORTON who moved to Steuben Twp,
Warren, IN from Maine or Massachusetts in 1827. He had a brother, John, I
believe, who was married to Zeruah CHADWICK daughter of James and Priscilla
(HAMLIN) CHADWICK also of Massachusetts. I have no listing for Zachariah's
wife or family except that Zachariah was buried in the Tillotson Cemetery.
Can anyone help me with this man? Is there a will index for Warren County? I
don't know when Zachariah may have died-just where he is buried. Pam
