You should check on
www.findagrave.com<http://www.findagrave.com/> as many of the
cemeteries in Vigo County have been photographed and placed on there by the Wabash Valley
Genealogy Society. If the ones you are looking for, are not on there, you can post a
request on that site and someone will do it for you free. It's a great site and
amazing how many photos of gravestones are on there! When you go to the site, go to the
right hand column to where it shows, "search for a cemetery". Jennifer Cruse,
President, Wabash Valley Genealogy Society,

I would be interested in the surname "Scudder". William H. Scudder and his
wife ( Catherine ) Anna Gordon Scudder .He died 15 September, 1888 and she died 7 Dec.,
1901.
Several of Williams brothers/other family may be there also.
Do you know of someone who would ( for a fee of course) be willing to take tombstone
photos if these folks are there?
Thank you so much for your time, and any assistance.

Message Board Post:
I have a bit of information about Elnora Scudder. She was born around 1870 and married
Emanuel Orman probably in Washington Co., Arkansas. Her parents were William Scudder and
Caroline Keesee whose marriage was in Marion Co., IN. I
don't have the sources for this information! I lost about 4 years work in a recent
crash of my hard drive. I would love to know more about this family of cousins! Mary
