Sharon. Not related, just trying to help. Thelma Briedenthal was born cc 1907 in
Jefferson county Kentucky to George B and Nannie Briedenthal. I did not find a birth
record for her but did find one for a George B Jr who was born in 1904 and his mother is
identified as Nannie Goose (no joke). I could not find a marriage for them because it
appears they married in 1899 and that year is missing from Jefferson county records
on-line. In 1900 the family was living in Jefferson county, Middleton township, and was
headed by John M Briedenthal, 52, born Jul 1847, married 22 years, a farmer, born in Pa as
was his father and mother in Md, and included the following all born in Ky, his wife L
Jennie, 43, Mar 1957, married 22 years, mother of 7 with 6 still living, his son George B,
20, Oct 1879, married 1 year, a rural mail carrier, his daughter Ella L, 18, 1881, his
daughter Jennie D, 14, Dec 1885, his daughter Dorothy, 6, April 1895, his son Wm Mckinley,
5, Feb 1895, his daughte!
r-in-law Nannie, 20, March 1880, married 1 year, mother of 1 and that 1 still living, and
his grandson Robert M, 11/12, born Jun 1899. In 1920 the family was in Jefferson county,
Two Mile House township, on Bardstown Road and was headed by George B Briedenthal, 30,
married 12 years, a physician-general practice, and included his wife Nannie B, 30,
married 12 years, mother of 4 with 2 still living (evidently George B Jr was one of those
who died), his son Robert, 10, and daughter Thelma, 2. In 1920 the family was still in
Jefferson county, Louisville Ward 3, at 2202 Dundee Road, and was headed by Geroge B, 40,
a physician-medical, and included his wife Nannie, 39, his daughter Thelma, 12, and son
Charles L, 2. Hope this helps. Don
