My 4th g-grandfather was George Singhorse who moved to Indiana from
Virginia about 1810, first to Franklin County, then on to Vigo. I have
over 50 individuals in my tree with the surname Singhorse or Singhurse.
I read somewhere that this last name is German in origin.
